Oshkosh M-ATV - Specialty File - Auto Reviews - Car and Driver

This very cool feature from the March 2010 issue of Car and Driver gives a full performance review of the Oshkosh MRAP-ATV, or M-ATV, which is currently being deployed in Afghanistan. My company, AGY, makes material for the composite ballistic armor on the MRAP vehicles, so we are always interested in this kind of feature. This report has a different flavor from the normal defense industry news, so is very cool. There are some great shots of the vehicle being put through its paces at the Aberdeen Testing Grounds.

  • 0-60mph: 32.8 seconds
  • Standing Quarter Mile 24.5 seconds at 54mph
  • Price as tested: $1,437,000
